Intentio

Intentio - Trailer from Loic Wirth on Vimeo.

The funny thing about fairytales, is that we forget them so fast
And we grow up, we buy things, we build fences
We sell our innocence and forget our dreams
We forget who we are in order to be something we're not
And we'll keep believing in this so called truths, until we forget how to live
Or until we open our eyes and wake up.

It's amazing how you can find really amazing videos from vimeo.

OOTD (fail)

Forgive me for a very embarrassing OOTD! and for the very crappy photo resolution. I used my ever reliable Samsung Galaxy Y. Anyhow, I would like to share to you how much I super love my outfit today other than my no make up look. LOL

Denim Top: Crissa Femme (a gift from le boyfe)
Jeggings: Jag
Bag: Nina Ricci Paris
Shoes: Skyhigh wedges from Jellybean

This is me waking up too late, totally forgetting that it is a Monday, and I shouldn't be wearing jeans at all. I promise though that I'll try to get a much decent ootd next time!

Oh! and this is what made me happy today! Other than eating 1 and a half rice from ChicBoy, which I really really regret! I love giving myself special treats because it makes me feel better.

I still prefer peach mango pie from Jollibee though, but this would do. Good news! I have a baby boy :)

Meet Mo, we got him after our very trusted labrador passed away. He now sleeps in our bedroom, and makes us all happy with his cuteness and naughtiness. Such a spoiled brat!

And i leave you with this nice quote below...

"Always make a total effort,
even when the odds are against you."
- Arnold Palmer

Basically, it's all about saying THANK YOU and giving back to those people who made you happy, like your family. In the US it is being celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November, which is today. Right now people are preparing turkeys and getting ready for this special event. Sometimes, I wish we had this certain occasion too, though we have one which is on Christmas day.

Personally, I think that we shouldn't wait for a certain occasion to be thankful, we have everyday of our lives to do it. Time passes by so fast and you'll never know what will happen tomorrow. I have lots of regret in my life, and one of it was not being able to say thank you to my Papa while he was still alive, so right now whenever I get to speak with them I also make sure to make them feel loved even if I am islands away from them. A simple text, email or call will do, trust me it's going to make a difference.

Right now here are what I am thankful for:
My loving family (including my beau's fam of course)
My super patient and loving beau
My friends
My 3 little pups
My job (simply because there are a lot jobless people out there)
and of course Papa Jesus ☺

How about you? What are you thankful for? ☺

Never have known how, bittersweet this would taste...

"Someone like you" is my favorite song from Adele's 21 album. Hearing it is like being stabbed directly through my heart, the lyrics are just so intense! Again, this are one of the songs that depicts my past.  I will never get tired of listening to Adele's songs, over and over again.

Never mind I'll find someone like you
I wish nothing but the best for you too
Don't forget me I beg
I'll remember you said
Sometimes it last in love
but sometimes it hurts instead

Getting to emotional lately, maybe because of the holiday season coming really really fast or maybe just the thought that I am coming back to my hometown and suddenly all this memories come rushing back to my mind. Pretty good but really saddening. On a good note, I am really excited! Counting until the 25th of December :) Seeing my siblings and my Lola is the greatest gift I am about to receive on Christmas day!

I haven't posted any FOTD lately, because I still can't get any courage to pose! but I'm practicing on it. LOL... I am thinking about doing a 365/days shutter project for 2012, that is if I can keep up with it due to my busy work schedule but I'll try, maybe I'll do it on my tumblr instead, what do you guys think? Let me know if you have any suggestions.

The one that got away...

The one that got away...

And in other life
I would make you stay

So I don't have to say
You were the one that got away

The one that got away

From "Thinking of you" to "Firework" to "Teenage Dream" and now "The one that got away", Katy Perry's songs never fail to amaze me. I may call it a coincidence, but the lyrics in her songs has always a story in my life that I can relate on. Now this song, is the closest. I can't help but listen to it all over again, the first time I heard this memories come flashing to my mind like sunshine. There's so much I can say about this song, it made me go back to another book in my life that I have vowed to close and lock away in my heart, where it's supposed to be; hidden, untouched, unbreakable, forbidden.

No offense, but I just hope that those Sunday noontime shows on local TV doesn't murder this song like what they did on Adele's "Rolling in the Deep".

Family day at Tagaytay

Another super late post!

We went to Tagaytay last month to bond with family and friends. It was a very fun day, though the weather was excruciatingly hot! It's supposed to be cold because we are in a high place, but never the less it didn't stop us from being happy.

First stop was breakfast!

Waiting for BULALO :)

Tierra Maria
Everytime we visit Tagaytay, we always make sure to stop by here first. I encouraged you to visit this place too, it has created a lot of miracles in my life and granted some of my wishes. This a very solemn and heavenly place, filled with devotees all over the country. If you proceed on the 3rd floor, it will show you are very good view of the Taal Volcano. Amazing, it definitely is.

Family and Friends :)

Tagaytay Picnic Groove

And of course the most exciting part of this visit would be the Zipline!

Watch our video here!

Tagaytay, will always have a special place in my heart! Even if it's just an hour trip from my home I will never get tired of going back again and again.

Paradise... soon!

This is ultimately beyond happiness!!! Crossed-out one of my to do list before going back home.

Let me share to you a little something about me. I grew up in a very small town called Boljoon, located in the southern part of Cebu. This is where I learned a lot about the importance of life, valuing family, and friends, and most importantly keeping my faith in God. I used to wake up in the morning and drive my bike around town, go to my Lola's place, and stroll at the beach. My life was pretty simple back then, my only happiness was being able to just be with my family. I have been living in Manila for the past 6 years, and every year I try my best to be home every Christmas.

Whenever I get to pass this my heart beats faster, it means that I'm home. ☺

A view from the top... Amazing isn't it?

excited!

Hello November... (OOTD)

We are now down to the last 8 weeks of the year 2011 and I am very excited to be going back home this Christmas! So, I’ve listed some things to do before leaving.

 ·        Purchase plane tickets to CEBU (highly achievable)
·        Purchase pasalubongs for siblings (highly achievable)
·        Purchase new phone (some what achievable)
·        Lose at least 10 pounds within 1 month (some what achievable)
·        Save up! (some what achievable)
·        Update my blog (achievable)

Honestly, I am not good at fulfilling this kind of things but I do hope I can cross out at least 2 of those, most importantly the plane tickets.

On a different note, here’s another OOTD. Taken at Diamond Hotel's beautiful rest room. I need to work more on this; my shy part’s stopping me when it comes to outfit post.
